John (Yianni) Kalinoglu

John Kalinoglu, a native of Long Island, New York, has always been passionate about art. Starting with digital design in high school and later expanding his skills in film school, he graduated from the New York Film Academy in 2019 with a focus on cinematography. Since then, he has worked as a cinematographer for various projects, including feature films, TV series, short films, music videos, and commercials. Collaborating with award-winning directors and producers, he has contributed to productions for major companies like Universal, Hulu, Fx, Hallmark, and Amazon.

In his pursuit of excellence as a cinematographer, John has not only mastered the camera but also delved into the intricacies of lighting, becoming proficient in every aspect of director of photography duties. His experience extends to working as a Gaffer on projects ranging from feature films to documentaries and music videos. As a highly motivated individual, John has a deep appreciation for storytelling, finding beauty in photography, motion pictures, and the authenticity conveyed in imaginary scenarios.

Currently based in Albany New York, John serves as a Cinematographer and Gaffer. His passion for his craft transcends geographical boundaries, as he is open to traveling anywhere in the world for compelling projects
